Pumps and Compressors Supplier: Fluid Components (7)

As a pumps and compressors supplier, Xingdaotai Limited sources the equipment that moves liquids and gases in a plant: centrifugal pumps and valves, vacuum pumps, process gas and refrigeration compressors, plus the hydraulic and measuring components that sit around them.

Most requests here are replacements. A pump or compressor that has run for years needs either the same unit or a set of spare parts, and the nameplate is the starting point: type, size, serial number, materials and seal. For a new installation we start from the duty point instead, the medium, flow, pressure and temperature, and propose matching models.

Questions and answers

How do I order a replacement pump or spare parts?

Send a photo of the nameplate and, if you have them, the pump datasheet and the serial number. For the pump itself we need the type series, size, impeller diameter, materials and shaft seal. For spare parts such as impellers, mechanical seals, bearings and wear rings, the serial number lets the manufacturer identify the exact build. We confirm availability and terms for each item.

How do you select a pump for a new duty point?

From the process data. We need the medium and its temperature, density and solids content, the required flow and head, the suction conditions and the power supply. With those figures the manufacturer's selection tools give a few candidate pumps, and we compare efficiency at the duty point, materials and seal options before sending you a proposal.

What is an oil-free compressor and when is it required?

An oil-free compressor has no lubricating oil in contact with the compressed gas, so the gas leaves as clean as it entered. It is required when contamination is not acceptable or is dangerous: food and beverage CO2, hydrogen, medical and specialty gases, gas recovery. Oil-free piston and diaphragm designs are common for process gases, while lubricated machines remain the usual choice for general plant air.

Which vacuum pump should I choose: dry or oil-sealed?

Oil-sealed rotary vane pumps are compact and reach low pressures at a modest price, but the oil needs changing and can backstream into the process. Dry pumps such as scroll, screw or claw designs keep the vacuum clean and suit solvents, analytical instruments and semiconductor work, at a higher price. For high vacuum you add a turbomolecular pump on top of either type.
