Refrigeration Units Supplier (1)

This section covers refrigeration units and their components: compressors and condensing units, evaporators and condensers, valves and controls, cold rooms, heat pumps and heat recovery, refrigerants and service tools. Xingdaotai Limited works as a refrigeration units supplier for installers, food producers and plant engineers, and sources equipment and spare parts on request.

Refrigeration equipment is selected by duty: refrigerant, cooling capacity, evaporating and condensing temperatures, and power supply. For a replacement, the nameplate of the old unit gives most of that. Refrigerants travel under dangerous goods rules, so they are shipped on separate terms from the hardware.

Questions and answers

How do I order a replacement refrigeration compressor?

Send a photo of the compressor nameplate and the data of the system: refrigerant, evaporating and condensing temperatures, and power supply. The model code tells us the displacement and motor version. If the same model is no longer made, we look for a successor with matching capacity, connections and mounting, and point out whether the control or oil type changes.

How do you select a condensing unit for a cold room?

From the cooling load. We need the room size and insulation, the required room temperature, the product load and how often doors open, plus the ambient temperature where the condenser will sit. From that the required capacity at the evaporating temperature follows, and we choose a condensing unit and evaporator that match each other.

What is a condensing unit?

A condensing unit combines the compressor, the condenser with its fan, and the basic controls on one frame. It is installed outside or in a machine room and connected by piping to an evaporator inside the cold room or cabinet. Together with an expansion valve, this forms a complete refrigeration circuit for cold rooms, display cases and small process cooling.

Which refrigerant should I choose for a new system?

Check local regulations first, because many high-GWP refrigerants are being phased down and their availability and price change. Then match the refrigerant to the temperature range and the system type: some suit medium-temperature cooling, others low-temperature freezing, and natural refrigerants such as CO2 or propane need components designed for them. The compressor manufacturer's approval list narrows the choice.
