SHW Werkzeugmaschinen

SHW Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH builds large milling and machining centers in Aalen-Wasseralfingen, Germany. SHW machine tools are aimed at heavy machining of big workpieces: moving column machines, portal milling machines and compact universal machining centers for milling and turn-milling. The company runs its own competence center for milling heads, more than 900 m² at its headquarters.

Pallet changers and a wide range of heads make the machines flexible for one-off and series work. A sister company, SHW Bearbeitungstechnik, works as a contract manufacturer on the same kind of parts, so the builder sees its own machines in production.
