KENT International USA, Inc. in South Elgin, Illinois, serves North and South America for KENT Industrial Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese machine builder founded in 1966. KENT machine tools are mostly grinders: manual and CNC surface grinders, creep feed and double column surface grinders, plus cylindrical and rotary table grinders. The range also includes vertical and double column machining centers.

KENT opened its first American office in California in 1979. The Taiwanese parent has two sites, in New Taipei City and in the Dou Liu industrial park in Yunlin.
