JAP

JAP is the premium lathe range of the Spanish manufacturer P Gaya, which has built lathes for more than 75 years. JAP machine tools are flat bed lathes in both CNC and conventional form, meant for high-precision work in demanding industries. The company puts the emphasis on a rigid bed that damps vibration and on thermal stability of the machine.

The range is compact. Two CNC families cover production work, one smaller family suits training, maintenance and prototyping, and the MLS line keeps a conventional lathe with servo control for shops that still turn by hand. Stock lathes and used machines are also listed.
