Gebr. HELLER Maschinenfabrik GmbH is a German maker of CNC machine tools for metal cutting, headquartered in Nürtingen. HELLER machine tools are mainly horizontal machining centers for series production, used heavily in automotive and general mechanical engineering. The company produces in Germany, the USA, Brazil and China.
There are two kinds of 5-axis machines in the range: models with the fifth axis in the workpiece, and models with the fifth axis in the tool for 5-sided and simultaneous work. Recent additions include the WV 8000 vertical machine for large aluminum structural parts and the WH 10000 for big castings, which cuts from two sides at once.
