FEMCO machine line, now sold as FST AMERICA Machinery Division: vertical turning lathes, boring mills, VMCs, turning centers.
The FEMCO machine line now operates under the name FST AMERICA, Machinery Division, based in Garden Grove, California. The femcousa.com address still works and leads to the FST AMERICA site. FEMCO machine tools in the current program cover heavy turning and boring as well as general milling, with a separate group of machines for wheel production.
The program is short and practical. Vertical turning lathes handle large round parts, horizontal boring mills take big prismatic work, and the turning centers and vertical machining centers fill the everyday job shop role. For non-standard tasks the company offers special machines built to order.
