Dalian Machine Tool

Dalian Machine Tool now operates as General Technology Group Dalian Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (GT Dalian Machine Tool), a company set up in April 2019 within the state-owned China General Technology Group. It continues the former Dalian Machine Tool Group, whose history goes back more than 80 years and which, by its own account, built China's first lathe, gear hobbing machine, multi-tool lathe and combination machine tool.

The company has two production bases in Dalian, at DD Port and in Wafangdian, and makes CNC machine tools, flexible manufacturing systems, automatic lines and functional components. Its customers work in automotive, rail transit, construction machinery, oil machinery, mining and metallurgy, communication equipment and vocational training.
