BURKHARDT+WEBER Fertigungssysteme GmbH builds large machining centers in Reutlingen, Germany. BURKHARDT+WEBER machine tools are made for heavy, accurate cutting of big parts: the heaviest machine the company has built weighs 182 metric tons. Each machine is configured around the customer's task, and the firm serves mechanical engineering, energy, oil and gas, hydraulics, commercial vehicles, aerospace, rolling mills and mining.

Service is a large part of the business. BW retrofits and overhauls older machines, repairs components, trains operators and supplies spare parts with hotline and remote diagnostics.
