AWEA

AWEA is a Taiwanese machine tool company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. It handles design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and service in-house. AWEA machine tools fall into two main groups: vertical machining centers for general and high-speed work, and bridge type machining centers for large parts. The company also builds its own milling heads and offers the i Console NC software layer for its machines.

The vertical range starts small. The AF-510 has 510 / 400 / 330 mm travels and a 12,000 rpm spindle, while the BM MAX models reach 2,500 mm in X with BT50 spindles. The bridge machines go further, with tables for workpieces of several tons.
