Dunkermotoren

Dunkermotoren GmbH is a German manufacturer of electric drive technology based in Bonndorf in the Black Forest. Christian Dunker founded the company in 1950 in a workshop in Bad Godesberg, and four years later it moved to Bonndorf. Dunkermotoren equipment covers rotary and linear drives from 1 up to 5,000 W of output power, built from a modular system: a motor is combined with a gearbox, encoder, brake and integrated or external electronics into one drive unit.

The motors work in warehouse automation and AGVs, pumps, packaging, food and beverage, machinery, semiconductor and electronics production, mass transit, agriculture, healthcare and laboratory equipment, and building automation such as access gates. Smart motors connect over CANopen, PROFINET, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP, and the nexofox brand adds IIoT functions such as predictive maintenance and a digital twin.

Main product lines

• Brushless DC motors with integrated controller or for external controllers
• Brushed DC motors, AC motors and AC servo motors
• Planetary gearboxes, worm, bevel and combination gearboxes, Spirotec and wheel hub gearboxes
• Controllers and fieldbus interfaces
• Linear systems: linear motors, CAHB/CASM electric cylinders, spindle motors and gantry systems
• Encoders and electromagnetic brakes

Ordering Dunkermotoren drives through Xingdaotai Limited

Dunkermotoren drives are ordered by the full type designation, because motor, gearbox ratio, encoder and electronics are combined per order. Send a photo of the nameplate or the part number, and for a new application the speed, torque, supply voltage and interface you need. We check the configuration with the manufacturer, and for a discontinued drive we look for the current successor with the same mounting.
