SCIEX analytical instruments are built around mass spectrometry for quantitation and identification. Triple quadrupole and QTRAP systems do the routine quantitative work in clinical, food, environmental and forensic labs; ZenoTOF and X500 QTOF systems handle accurate-mass and omics research. The company also makes capillary electrophoresis systems used to characterize biologics, the ExionLC front end and the software that runs the whole chain. Clinical diagnostics versions, such as the Citrine and 4500MD systems, are offered separately.
