Retsch

Retsch laboratory equipment prepares solid samples before they reach the analyzer. A rock, a grain sample or a battery electrode has to be crushed, ground and split into a representative portion first, and Retsch builds a machine for each of those steps. Jaw crushers handle coarse material, rotor, cutting, knife, disc, mortar and ball mills bring it down to analytical fineness, and sieve shakers measure the particle size that results. Retsch is part of the Verder group, which also covers particle and elemental analysis.
